AMVETS - Dr. Aurelio M. Caccomo Family Foundation Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to Veterans, or member of the National Guard or Reserves, who are seeking new skills to be competitive in the job market. Two (2) annual scholarships of $12,000 awarded annually.
The AMVETS National Scholarship Program is available to financially assist Veterans who have exhausted government aid, or who might not otherwise have the financial means to continue their education. Applicants must use the funds toward a full-time study program at either an undergraduate college or university in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. One (1) $4,000 scholarship is awarded each year. Funds are distributed in $1000 increments within a 4-year period.
AMVETS Veteran Scholarship Program
With the support of WD-40 Company, AMVETS is offering scholarships of up to $5,000.00 for training and certification in the construction trades. Must be a an Active Duty Service Member or Veteran of the Armed Forces (including Reserves and National Guard), Spouse of Veteran, or Active Duty Member. Eligibility requires applicants to be enrolled in an eligible construction trades program. Children of Service Members are Not eligible.
American Warrior Association Scholarships
The American Warrior Association is proud to announce its annual Scholarship Program. Currently, three different awards are offered. Tier One Scholarships are offered to qualified transitioning military or veteran, and Special Operation Forces (SOF) Operators who are enrolled in an accredited top 20 college or university in an MBA, Law or Medical program. Tier Two and Tier Three Scholarships are awarded to qualified transitioning military or veterans who are seeking to complete their four-year degree or attend a trade school. To be eligible for the Scholarship Program, a candidate must be a transitioning active duty or veteran honorably discharged after December 31st, 2016. Annual award in the amount of $15,000; number of awards available varies. Deadline: May 31, 2024.
Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Scholarship (AFCEA) Educational Foundation - (STEM)
Undergraduate candidates must be at least second-year college students enrolled as sophomores or juniors full-time in a four-year college or university at the time of application. Four (4) scholarships are awarded annually; there is one application form for all STEM scholarships. Online programs are eligible. Students attending a community college and planning to attend a four-year university, or attending a two-year college are not eligible. Freshman or seniors in a four-year university are also not eligible.

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) - War Veterans Scholarship - (STEM)
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (ACFEA) War Veterans Scholarship is funded by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (ACFEA), an international organization striving to be the premier information technology, communications, and electronics association for professionals in international government, industry, and academia worldwide. Each year their War Veterans Scholarship provides awards to multiple persons on active duty and honorably discharged military veterans who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM field.

Colonel Christie Marine Corps Scholarship
The Christie Memorial College Assistance Award is given to a former enlisted Marine leaving the Marine Corps to attend a four-year institution. This award recognizes a Marine who has demonstrated exceptional courage and integrity in the face of great obstacles. Award will be given as a monthly stipend.
Comcast NBCUniversal Scholarship - SVA Scholarship®
The Comcast NBCUniversal-SVA Scholarship will support two student veterans in any major with an interest in the entertainment industry with a $12,000 scholarship each. Must be pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree from an accredited two-year or four-year institution of higher learning, located in the U.S. and have a 3.0 GPA.
Horatio Alger Military Veterans Scholarship
Awarded to Veterans who have served under the United States Military Operation in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan or Operation Iraqi Freedom beginning Sept. 11, 2001 or later.
The Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) is designed to help military service members receive career education and make the transition from military to civilian life. A national aid program established in 2004, it offers a $1,000 career education award to any qualified active-duty, reservist, honorably discharged or retired veteran of a United States military service branch for attendance at participating career colleges.
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Education Programs
The NBCC Foundation Military Scholarship Program is designed to encourage Service Members and Veterans to pursue careers in professional counseling. The program provides financial support to students who enroll, or seek to enroll, in a CACREP accredited counseling program during or after military service, and who commit to serving military personnel.
Sentinels of Freedom was established to meet an entirely new underserved population. Our mission is to assist severely wounded or injured, post-9/11 veterans in their efforts to become productive and self-sufficient members of their communities as they transition back to civilian life. Each Sentinel must have a VA disability rating of 60% or higher and have been wounded or injured in a combat or training-related event post-9/11 and be committed to pursuing their higher education.
U.S. Naval Institute Information Warfare Essay Contest
The U.S. Naval Institute Information Warfare Essay Contest contest is open to all contributors -- active-duty military, reservists, veterans, and civilians. Essays must be no more than 2,500 words, excluding end notes and sources. Include word count on title page of the essay. Essays are judged in the blind. Do not include author name(s) on title page or within the essay.

Van Hipp Heroes Scholarship Fund
Guard soldiers and airmen who were wounded in an operational or training mission during the Global War on Terrorism are eligible for a $1,000 college scholarship from the Van Hipp Heroes Scholarship Fund.
VFW “Sports Clips Help A Hero Scholarship”
The Veterans of Foreign Wars "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship" provides service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. Applications are open twice a year for the fall and spring semesters. Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve; have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, technical school, etc.); separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below; demonstrate a need for financial assistance and participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Welcome Home Military Heroes Scholarship Program
The Program offers two deserving Veterans the chance to receive a $2500 scholarship to support their educational journey. Only students currently enrolled at a local community college, university or trade school will be considered and awarded a scholarship. Scholarship awards will be presented at the Welcome Home Military Heroes Awards Ceremony, date and local yearly TBD.
